But I Can

I can  not run with my legs,

but I can run in my mind,

and even sore into the air

on the wings of an eagle.

I can not talk with my mouth,

but I can talk with my eyes,

and can speak volumes

with my smile, and my body.

I can not see with my eyes,

but I can see more deeply

with my whole heart.

Everyone is beautiful to me.

I can not always use my mind

but I can always use my heart,

With this I change from learner,

to among the greatest of teachers.

It is never what you can not do,

but what you can, that will make the difference.

Shoot for the stars, but always

be happy with the clouds!
